Mmm! I love lasagna, but not how long it takes to make. I recently came across a skillet lasagna recipe that takes only 30 minutes from start to finish. As a busy Mom, this was a recipe I had to try. Just take a look at this deliciousness!

Start to finish 30 minute lasagna recipe
6 ounces of dried rotini pasta
1 lb lean ground beef

1 (24 oz-25 oz) jar of marinara sauce
1 1/2 cups (6 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese
1/4 cup (1 ounce) grated Parmesan cheese
Cook pasta according to directions. Drain well.
Meanwhile, in a large nonstick skillet, cook ground beef and green bell pepper over medium heat until meat is brown, stirring to break up beef as it cooks. Drain, discard fat. Set meat mixture aside.
Spread 1/2 cup marinara sauce on the bottom of skillet. Top with about half of cooked pasta. Spread half of remaining pasta sauce on top of pasta. Spoon cooked meat over sauce. Sprinkle with 1 cup of mozzarella cheese. top with remaining pasta and sauce. Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese over top.
Cover and cook over medium heat for 5-7 minutes or until heated through and cheese melts. Remove skillet from heat. Let stand, covered, for 1 minute.
*I improvised with ziti noodles since we did not have rotini pasta on hand.
Quick, delicious, filling…need I say more? The entire family devoured it so this will be a new staple in our household.
What’s for dinner tonight?
