Move over Pinterest…there’s a new sheriff in town. Meet Yummly – the easiest way to save your favorite digital recipes. Many times, I look up inspiration for family dinners online, only to get distracted by social media and other “cool” ideas I come across. Recently though – I’ve found a great site to store recipes I come across with zero distractions.
Yummly is very easy to use. Create an account in a matter of seconds and begin saving your recipes in a snap! For example….you spot this easy summer punch recipe of mine (which happens to be uber popular by the way) and say, “oh I’d like to try that.” Or perhaps you come across the perfect holiday recipe in July and think, “oh I need to remember this one.” Instead of printing it and then losing it by end of summer, store it digitally on yummly! Life is busy! I’m always looking for ways to cut corners during meal prep without sacrificing quality. After an eye opening conference last year about America’s food, our family has transitioned towards natural and organic products ever since. Today I’m sharing one of our family’s favorite meals using Horizon products: Baked Mac N Cheese.
Do you like a little crunch with your Mac N Cheese? When shopping for the recipe ingredients, I noticed Horizon’s new Snack Crackers that are made with organic wheat & cheese. I knew these would work perfectly as cracker crumbs over our dish. I also picked up some natural Kielbasa to add to our Baked Mac N Cheese. I usually tell the boys it’s hotdogs and never hear a complaint about it. 😉 If you struggle with getting your kids to eat enough vegetables, this is a great dish for hiding some under all this yumminess!
Mmm! I love lasagna, but not how long it takes to make. I recently came across a skillet lasagna recipe that takes only 30 minutes from start to finish. As a busy Mom, this was a recipe I had to try. Just take a look at this deliciousness!
