Looking for a creative way to celebrate spring? Try this Simple Spring Carrot Cupcakes idea. It’s easy enough to have the kids join you in the creation process, or something fun to surprise them later with.
Simple Spring Carrot Cupcakes
- Frost your cupcakes, and sprinkle on the cinnamon and sugar mixture.
- The next step is to make the candy carrots. Cut your Starburst in half. Flatten the top of one end and make the other end pointed. On the flattened end add some green Rips, wrap the flattened end around the Rips and then roll the whole thing to form a carrot shape.
- Place carrot on top of the cupcake and you have an adorable spring-inspired treat.
Simple, yet looks like you took hours to create. These Spring Cupcakes would make a great addition to a party, work potluck, or something fun for the kids to bring to class.

That is fabulous. You used the Starbust almost like a marzipan. You’ve started my mind spinning with ideas. Of course, the carrots will be tops on the list. I am pinning this for the future.
