Family movie night is a regular occurrence in our household. Sometimes we rent one from the library or a box location, other times we select a favorite from our personal stash. Recently when shopping at Target I came across one of our favorite cereals – Cocoa Puffs and noticed it was running a Movie Download Promotion.
A special thanks to Big G Cereal for sponsoring today’s post.
With the purchase of just two General Mills participating cereals, we were able to download a digital HD movie! Using Target Ticket we downloaded Home Alone 2 to our Apple iPad and connected that to the television to watch on a larger screen.
The boys recently watched Home Alone for the first time and thought that movie was hilarious, so it was an easy selection for both of them.
Here’s how to download the movies from the Big G Cereals website:
- Enter code 1 & 2 from inside participating Big G Cereal boxes
- Select from 10 movies for download
- Choose to redeem from Target Ticket, Vudu, or Google Play. Then select the “redeem” button.
Because movie night always needs a good snack, try this General Mills & Chex snack recipe at your next family movie night!

Food allergies would prevent us from trying this, but I know of several kiddos who would LOVE this snack. I will have to mention it to their parents.
