Baby Sprinkle – Strawberry Mini Sugar Cookies Recipe

This post is sponsored by Vocalpoint and Luvs. All opinions are my own.

baby sprinkle ideas

Baby Sprinkles are trending among moms-to-be. They may be so new that you haven’t heard of them just yet. These parties are for moms who are having a second, third or later child. Many times, parents have a different gender the second time around and new items are needed for their latest bundle of joy. Plus – isn’t every baby worth celebrating? I certainly think so!

This smaller version of a baby shower typically includes close friends and family and isn’t as elaborate as the first time around. It may include a few games, smaller gift items, and a few snackable foods, like the one I’m sharing with you today!

These Strawberry Mini Sugar Cookie Sandwiches are dee-licious and a cute treat for a Baby Sprinkle. Read on to grab the recipe below! [Read more…]

Family Portraits + Easy Chalkboard Paint Craft

This is a partnered post with Portrait Innovations. All opinions are my own.

I love capturing memories like family portraits. Since I’m usually behind the lense on the blog, I try to coordinate family pictures with a professional studio at least once a year. One thing that’s always important is great photo props. Most studios have a variety of props to use, but it’s also fun to mix in something personal too. This year we created this super easy chalkboard paint craft.

Helping Those in Need with Vitamin Angels & Walgreens

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser. All opinions are mine alone. #100MillionReasons #CollectiveBias

vitamin angels

For over 20 years Vitamin Angels has been helping at-risk populations (pregnant women, new mothers and children under 5) gain access to life changing vitamins & minerals. In 2014 alone, Vitamin Angels reached 40 million children in 45 countries, and are distributing 300 million vitamins in 2015! That’s an incredible feat and blessing for those in need.

My family is my world, and I do my best to keep them safe and healthy, which is why we take vitamins daily. The boys never give me a hassle because we buy gummy vitamins and they always think it’s a treat first thing in the morning! And with Nate working in the school system, plus both boys enrolled in elementary school, we know taking vitamins is vital to keeping our immune system at it’s best. [Read more…]

Manwich Monday Messy-Licious Sloppy Joes Recipe

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Manwich. All opinions are 100% mine.

Growing up in the 80’s there was rarely a week where I did not have sloppy joes from the school cafeteria or at home. Sloppy Joes is definitely a favorite meal of mine.

Whenever I think of sloppy joes I think of the cafeteria lady in Billy Madison, and yes I like mine extra sloppy. :)

Now that I am a dad of two adorable boys I definitely have them eating Hunt’s Manwich. In fact we have started a little tradition here at the Hay House, and that is Manwich Monday. You’ve probably heard of Taco Tuesday, but let me tell you after a full day at the office, I tend to drag when I get home, and this meal is so quick and easy to make that Manwich Monday is becoming the norm.
