We are half way through summer and if your children are like most kids, they love the freedom the season brings. Although your children are having fun playing outside, swimming in the pool, and sleeping in, there are probably times that they’re bored. Boredom is a common downside of summer for children who are used to sitting in a classroom for half of the day and only having a few hours of freedom in the evening. Keep your children happy this summer by chasing away the boredom with these fun summer crafts.

Did you tune in last weekend to the American Century Championship Celebrity Golf Tournament? Besides the money raised to support a good cause, there were some pretty great highlights. The difference between a celebrity golf tournament and a professional tournament is the level of seriousness. The celebrities looked like they were having a great time as they played even though the weather was not ideal.
One of my favorite moments of the tournament was AJ Hawk, linebacker for the Green Bay Packers, tackling a fan to the ground. The crowd loved it and what a story for that fan to tell his friends and family.

We’re in the middle of summer and many families enjoy spending time outdoors. Although the summer provides attractive weather, it can heat up fast. When you head indoors you want to cool off. What if I told you that you could cool an entire room with the same amount of electricity as used for a standard 45 watt light bulb? It is possible with the eco-friendly Luma Comfort EC45S. The EC45S distributes refreshing cool air throughout your living space at a fraction of the cost of a room air conditioner. How amazing is that?!
