The biggest issue that I had in the past with my weight is how I ate and now that I am on Nutrisystem that problem has been solved. My weight loss had plateaued in the last couple of weeks, but I am happy to say that I am back on track. I lost three pounds this week, and I am so excited about that. I now weigh in at 214 pounds, so I am really close to hitting that 20 pound mark. I am starting to see more definition in my arms and midsection, and I am not ashamed to have my shirt off around the house.
This week many people at my job noticed the difference in my weight loss, and if they didn’t know that I was on the Nutrisystem my way plan, they sure do now. I still have a ways to go in my mind, but after 7 weeks on Nutrisystem I am starting to get my confidence back, which is really important for anyone who is on a weight loss journey.
I wanted to share a workout tip that I have started in the last couple of weeks. As you know I walk on my treadmill for 30 minutes to an hour each day. Now I have started incorporating workout bands while using the treadmill. I wrapped a band around the handles and this gives me a little more resistance for my upper body while I workout. I am not only getting in a great cardio workout, but now I can work out my arms, back, and abdominals by using the bands as I walk. My workouts seem to fly by and normally it is my wife coming in the garage to say that is enough now come inside. As you can tell from the picture my treadmill is located in the garage, so I have my own little workout space, I guess you could call it my man cave.
