I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for JOHNSON’s Baby. I received a promotional item as a thank you for participating.
My very first best friend and I lost touch after I moved from South Florida when I was six years old. We only moved a few hours away and I did return “home” often to visit family, however we were really too young to schedule plans or anything of the sort. And since my Mom was great at capturing memories of our childhood I would sometimes flip through a photo album and spot a few pictures of the two of us. I always wondered how she was, and even attempted to find a number for her a few times.
Many years later, the Facebook obsession hit and I was finally able to connect with her. It had been 20+ years!! But she still remembered me, just as I did her. She still lives in Florida, and just a few hours away. After catching up online and over the phone, we met for dinner with our families. Years later, we still stay in touch. On our most recent chat she shared her exciting news: she was a few months pregnant! I couldn’t be more thrilled for her! I know she will be a wonderful mother and I can’t wait to meet her bundle of joy. I also look forward to our little ones bonding and creating their own friendship.
As a Mom-to-be I wanted to do something special for her and plan to send her a Johnson’s Baby Cares Message this Mother’s Day. Every Mom deserves to hear encouraging messages and feel supported throughout the year, and especially at Mother’s Day.
Join the effort by creating and sending a digital Care Card to a special mom in their life on Facebook at www.johnsonsbabycares.com.
For every card sent, shared or liked, JOHNSON’S® Baby will donate $1.00 to Save the Children®, up $150,000, to benefit early childhood education. Not only can you make a difference in your Mom’s, friend’s, or loved one’s life, but you can also help support this wonderful cause.
“JOHNSON’S® Baby believes that every new mom deserves access to essential resources to help ensure their babies thrive. As such, the JOHNSON’S® Baby CARES charitable platform is once again partnering with Save the Children® to offer the parenting skills and strategies needed to build a strong foundation for babies, while delivering social support and encouragement to moms along the way.”
Through the brand’s support of Save the Children’s® Early Steps to School Success program, Johnson’s Baby is helping educate moms with the skills to successfully support their child’s growth from pregnancy until school age.
You have the option to create a card or select a pre-made Care Card via their Facebook page. It only takes a few seconds, so head over there now and bring a smile to a loved one’s face. It’s always nice to hear words of encouragement, especially when it comes from another Mom.
