Did you know National Random Acts of Kindness Day is February 17th? What an amazing opportunity to spread some good in the world by doing something generous for others. It could be as small as paying the toll for the person behind you to greeting everyone you see with a smile. In preparation for the release of Same Kind of Different as Me on Blu-ray, Paramount Pictures has partnered with The Kindness Rocks Project to promote acts of kindness. Kindness Rocks Kit
What you’ll need:
Now it’s time to get creative! Gather your kind thoughts. One message at just the right moment can change someone’s entire day.
Begin by painting the rocks a bright color with your paint and foam brushes. Once dry, use your paint pens to create a picture or inspirational sentiment. Let your artwork dry overnight and then seal it with a coat of Mod Podge sealant and a foam brush. Now your ready to spread the love by placing your kindness rocks in your town or local park!
The boys along with their cousin had a blast creating special rocks for Random Acts of Kindness Day. They’re so excited to hide the rocks for others to find, and hopefully make their day a little brighter.

What a great idea for a craft to do with kids. I remember painting rocks as a kid but have not seen it done for quite sometime.
