I can remember the moment like it was yesterday. The day I became a Mom. The pregnancy was long, yet the delivery was fast. And soon I was holding our first-born in my arms, staring at the most adorable creation I had ever seen. I can not believe that was (gulp) 5 years ago. Where has the time gone? Since then, we’ve had another baby boy and he’s already two! Yet, like a light switch, I can vividly remember the moment I held both boys for the first time. It’s amazing how the mind works.
Becoming a parent is one of the most rewarding, and challenging jobs you will ever undertake. It’s truly a blessing and honor. There is no comparison to the amount of love that fills your heart.
Just for the record, I am not pregnant. No news to share here! However, I have MANY friends who have recently shared their good news with me and I couldn’t be more excited for them!
Other than my most memorable moment of welcoming our baby boys into the world, I also enjoyed a few other things while pregnant. One of those being shopping! It is so much fun to begin shopping for a nursery theme and buying those first baby items. It almost solidifies that this is happening, I’m becoming a Mom!
Another thing I enjoyed shopping for was maternity clothes. Typically I would not be excited about gaining weight and my buttons popping off, but at this moment I was ALL about it! I avoided being pregnant with both kids during the Summer heat. Many moms, including my own, gave me that advice and I heeded it. I even have a favorite pair of khaki maternity pants that I incorporate in my wardrobe today because they are so comfortable.
What were some of your favorite pregnancy memories? Do you plan to expand your family?

I love holding the baby in my arms, but I must admit that I am not too fond about being pregnant. Have the right maternity clothes definitely helps makes pregnancy bearable though.

Ahhh, the memories, where do I begin. I loved being pregnant, with both of my babies, with both of them I did endure the summer heat but believe it or not it was not as bad as I anticipated. I too also enjoyed shopping for Maternity cloths, I enjoyed showing off my great big belly 🙂 hahaha I enjoyed my first delivery my second one was quite painful but the outcome was just as magical….I have been blessed to be the mother of a beautiful little girl and boy and it is the best blessing a person can have. I can say with my experiences if I could afford to have a “basketball team” I would but for now we will enjoy the adventures that our two little babies take us on 🙂

I am currently a proud Mom of three grown children (ages 27, 24 & 22) and one grandson and another one on the way! It is truly amazing how fast the time flew by!! My two sons are currently serving in the U.S. Army and are married (this all transpired in the last 3-4 years). I am a very proud of each of them as they have all grown up to be responsible & mature adults….seeing them now brings back the same tears in my heart as the day each of them were born.:)

I remember the second my little boys were born! When my first bio child was born, I was filled with so much love, I thought I would burst! Holding my precious little ginga baby boy was amazing. I could not stop smiling! Holding my second bio born child was just as amazing. The delivery was rotten but everything was better after I held that little muffin in my arms. Motherhood is the most amazing thing in the world, and I appreciate every moment with my four children!
