This week went really well! Transitioning from the Fast5 to the Nutrisytem my way plan was super easy. I was able to add in SmartCarbs like fruit, whole grain breads and pastas. I was also able to add PowerFuels, which are protein packed foods like low-fat cheese, egg whites, fish, lean meats, and peanut butter. I definitely did not feel the hunger pains this week like I did last week. Once again the food was really good!

My favorite meal for this week was the Mushroom Stuffed Chicken Breast. I am kind of disappointed that I do not get my Fast5 shakes anymore. I was a big fan! The Nutrisytem my way plan does come with protein powder in both vanilla and chocolate flavors. I prefer the chocolate to the vanilla, but here is a tip to make the vanilla taste a lot better, add a spoonful of strawberry reduced sugar preserves. Put all of the ingredients in a blender and viola you have a healthy strawberry protein shake.
I can tell that my body is starting to change because I went down one belt hole this week yahoo! Belts are supposed to be a fashion statement, but for the last couple of months they have been back up just in case my button popped. So, I am glad that my waste is starting to shrink and my pants will fit more comfortably, without having to suck in my gut. 🙂
