NuMe Professional Hair Styling Products Review

When it comes to hairstyle routines this girl doesn’t change it up much, at all! After nearly 10 years of using the same hair styling tool (yes, I am loyal!) I was cautiously enthusiastic at the opportunity to try the NuMe Professional hair styling products including the Silhouette flat iron and Magic Wand curling wand.

NuMe Professional Styling Products

The sleek Silhouette flat iron has pure ceramic surface paddles to allow the hair to easily glide through the tool without any tugging. I found it much easier to work with completely dry hair as opposed to damp hair. This did provide a challenge due to the thickness of my hair because my hair takes 24+ hours to dry naturally. However, once the hair was completely dry, this obstacle no longer presented an issue for me and I was able to get started.

NuMe Flat Iron Review

Once I began the handle seem to fit better than the one I was using. My current handle was heavy and cumbersome, which did not allow as much flexibility as the NuMe Silhouette Flat Iron. I have very long hair (to my waist) and found it easy to start at the scalp and straighten to the ends. The flat iron is lightweight making it easy to keep going through a lot of hair. An additional feature I appreciated was the ability to curl the ends under to add some definition.

With the pure ceramic plates, the ends are not burned and the NuMe hair straightener worked fabulously to create the smooth silky look I was hoping to achieve. The heat range starts at 140 degrees (F) and climbs to 450 degrees (F). This has become my new favorite hair styling tool for weekly use and travels easily on holidays and work trips. I highly recommend the NuMe straightener tool. It does have a longer cord, but the ability of small children to pull it down was a temporary issue I had to overcome by using a zip-tie to keep it contained.

NuMe Curling Wand Review

What is a NuMe Wand?

The NuMe Magic Wand curling wand was appealing to try because I have always struggled with a traditional curling iron clamp. I typically have that one section of hair that gets crimped and is a little funky. This is a product I purchased separately after having such great results with the Nume flat iron.

The Nume Curling Wand is made of 1005 titanium and features an innovative clipless design for crease-free curls using infrared heat and negative ion technology. To accomplish a style with the Magic Wand does seem to take a bit of practice using the wand and glove. Using hair spray will really help this tool to help create the curls. As with any styling practice for those of us with long hair, it takes patience and practice to really get it right! What I really like about the NuMe Magic Wand curling iron is the heat thermometer that displays the exact temperature so you know exactly how hot the wand is and when it is ready to use.
