Marvel fans – the wait is over! Head to the movies for opening weekend of Thor: Ragnarok, now in theaters. Ragnarok translates to “the end of the universe” in Norse mythology, so it’s fair to presume that some edge-of-the-seat action is in store for audiences with this latest installment. Marvel Thor: Ragnarok
In Marvel Studios’ “Thor: Ragnarok,” Thor is imprisoned on the other side of the universe without his mighty hammer and finds himself in a race against time to get back to Asgard to stop Ragnarok—the
destruction of his homeworld and the end of Asgardian civilization—at the hands of an all-powerful new threat, the ruthless Hela. But first he must survive a deadly gladiatorial contest that pits him against his former ally and fellow Avenger—the Incredible Hulk!

Our thoughts on the film:
Nathan and our young son, L, saw the film during an early screening. He shares, “Thor was a great movie. It was entertaining from start to finish. I found it funnier than both Guardians films, which was surprising. I loved the transformation that Thor makes throughout the film and how he discovers his true power. The chemistry between the heroes was a big plus and lead to some very funny scenes. There is also a special guest appearance within the first 15 minutes of the film. Marvel Thor: Ragnarok is a definite must see and one of my favorite Marvel films to date!
Thor: Ragnarok cast includes: Chris Hemsworth starring as Thor and Tom Hiddleston reprising his role as Loki. They are joined by Cate Blanchett, Idris Elba, Jeff Goldblum, Tessa Thompson and Karl Urban, with Mark Ruffalo and Anthony Hopkins.
