Until recently I was a disposable diaper using Momma. My easiest explanation for not considering cloth diapers in the past would be that I didn’t know enough about them. However I am a big believer in living a green lifestyle and do what I can for our environment. Therefore I decided to give cloth diapers a try.
I recently had the opportunity to review Lotus Bumz cloth diapers. I’m glad Lotus Bumz was my first opportunity to take cloth diapering on a test run. Lotus Bumz makes eco friendly cloth diapers. They have adorable solid colors, prints, wetbags and more!
Here are some of the benefits of Lotus Bumz cloth diapers:
- Shiny, leak-proof exterior (PUL)
- Three rows of adjustment snaps to allow for a small/medium/large size in one diaper
- Hip snaps to prevent the sides from drooping
- Waist tab overlaps for extra-small waist size
- Includes a 3-layer microfiber insert
Lotus Bumz makes affordable cloth diapers. Their prices range from $15.97 and up. Considering we may pay that same price for a package of disposable diapers and once they have been used new ones need to be purchased. That cycle continues until your child is typically around 2 to 3 years of age. However with cloth diapers, you can purchase a good bundle to reuse and last you through that same time frame for much cheaper.
My little guy looked adorable in his Lotus Bumz diaper. I’m impressed with the quality of their cloth diaper and how well it held up between diaper changes. The 3-layer microfiber insert really works great! There weren’t any leaks!
The insert and diaper cover are so soft and comfortable. My little guy didn’t complain once. And he looks quite fashionable I might add. 🙂 I very much appreciate the adjustable snaps so that it’s easy to find the right size for each individual baby.
My only con would be that their opening for the insert is a bit on the small side. My hands are not large by any means and I just wonder how Daddy friendly this particular diaper would be. Overall I love the cloth diaper I reviewed and think it’s made of great quality. Lotus Bumz may have just converted me to a cloth diaper Momma!
