I love a good toy with multiple purposes, especially when it brings educational value. The boys ask to play the iPhone or iPad all the time, and we do let them play age appropriate apps for limited amounts of time. However, many times we have noticed the boys tap onto an ad and wind up somewhere completely different. My 2-year-old is the ultimate YouTube video finder! If you have tech-loving kids, I’m sure you can relate. And let’s not even try to count the amount of times our tablet or phone has been dropped or dinged. So what’s a parent to do?

What do we think about the VTech InnoTab® 3S Wi-Fi Learning App Tablet? It is a great learning tool for preschool aged children. My 2 1/2 year old plays with it several times a week. It keeps him occupied when I’m doing household chores, and works really well when traveling in the car. His little personality has blossomed within the past few months and he shows a very artistic side, so the creative apps are very appealing to him.
It’s priced at just under $100, which I believe is a great value. I appreciate the parental control feature and kid-friendly web browsing. The VTech Kid Connect feature is pretty neat too. Grandparents and other family members can connect with the boys through the tablet and leave them encouraging messages. The tablet is a great size for little hands, however I do wish the screen was a bit larger. Overall, we are happy with the VTech InnoTab® 3S Wi-Fi Learning App Tablet and think it’s a great solution to keeping kids entertained within a safe environment.
