More about Codi Robot
This adorable robot is made of food-grade silicone and high-quality ABS plastic so it’s safe and durable, it also includes a machine-washable plush outfit, USB charger, and adapter. Setting up Codi Robot takes just a few steps. Simply, download the Codi parent app and follow the instructions to create an account. Then pair Codi with your Wi-Fi – mine required a quick firmware update, then restarted and it was ready to play!
Codi Robot is a storyteller with 130 classic stories that stimulate the imagination, like “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” and “The Ant and the Grasshopper.” While just a few stories are downloaded to start, you can add easily add additional stories to Codi that are already uploaded to the app.
Other fun features include 100 classic songs to get your child moving! Favorites like “The Wheels on the Bus” and “Bah Bah Black Sheep” are ready to play, along with additional classic songs in the app to add. There are even soothing lullabies your child can play as they fall asleep at night.
In the app, parents can select life-learning lessons like reminding your child to clean up or brush their teeth. As well as share age-appropriate daily facts, an interactive mode where your child can ask Codi Robot a question, and voice chat where your child can send you a message via a button on Codi, and you’ll receive it in the app, and reply to it.

As we shared in the video, we found the interactive mode to be a bit glitchy. Many of the questions we would ask Codi like what’s 1+1 or tell me about Disney were met with “I’m not sure about that. I’m still learning.” I think over time Codi’s creator Pillar Learning will expand that section and add updates.
However, one of the most important features about Codi Robot is Social-Emotional Learning where he helps kids work through different emotions with helpful stories and tips. My husband, being an elementary school Principal, found this feature to be a great benefit for young kids. We’ve decided to donate Codi to one of his classroom autism units as we know this will be such a great smart toy for them to use.
Right now Codi is on sale for just $99 on their website and Amazon.com!
