Book Club: The Next Chapter Movie Review
About the film: The highly anticipated sequel follows four best friends as they take their book club to Italy for the fun girls’ trip they never had. When things go off the rails and secrets are revealed, their relaxing vacation turns into a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country adventure.
Cast includes: Diane Keaton, Jane Fonda, Candice Bergen, Mary Steenburgen, Craig T. Nelson, Giancarlo Giannini, with Andy Garcia and Don Johnson
Opening in theaters Mother’s Day weekend!
The sequel picks up with the ladies learning to use Zoom (like the rest of the world) so they can stay connected through the pandemic. When the travel bans lift, the girls are inspired to head to Italy and make it a bachelorette party for their commitment-phobe friend Vivian!
I felt like the ladies were traveling the same adventure my husband and I took on our very first wedding anniversary. We also went to Rome and Venice! It was fun to relive those moments while watching the film.
This female friendship is the heart of the film while they tackle relatable life experiences. Book Club: The Next Chapter is wickedly funny and a must-see! There are SO many hilarious puns that will keep you laughing throughout. And you can’t go wrong with this all-star cast!
If you need a good laugh (who doesn’t?!) head to the theaters this Friday, May 12th to see Book Club: The Next Chapter!
Inspired by the film, Book Club invited us to a local winery to enjoy a fun-filled wine and tasting tour! My husband and I had so much fun. Watch the short video below.
