2016 Movies from Walt Disney Studios

2015 was a fantastic year for movies, especially Walt Disney Studios with box office favorites like Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Inside Out, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. Can they top last year’s record-breaking hits?

Here’s the list of upcoming 2016 movies from Walt Disney Studios!

Directed by Spielberg, Disney’s “The BFG” tells the imaginative story of a young girl and the Giant who introduces her to the wonders and perils of Giant Country. The BFG (Mark Rylance), while a giant himself, is a Big Friendly Giant and nothing like the other inhabitants of Giant Country. Standing 24-feet tall with enormous ears and a keen sense of smell, he is endearingly dim-witted and keeps to himself for the most part. Giants like Bloodbottler (Bill Hader) and Fleshlumpeater (Jemaine Clement) on the other hand, are twice as big and at least twice as scary and have been known to eat humans, while the BFG prefers Snozzcumber and Frobscottle. December 16, 2016 – Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (Lucasfilm) #RogueOne TBD 2016 – The Light Between Oceans (DreamWorks Pictures) #TheLightBetweenOceans What Disney film are you most excited for this year? I have to say, as big Marvel fans, the boys and I are counting down the days until Captain America: Civil War! Finding Dory and Rogue One will be other favorites I’m certain. Nate’s excited for 2 of his favorite childhood books to come to the big screen in The BFG and Pete’s Dragon. It looks like it will be another fun year at the movies!
