My CoolSculpting Results are in!
First, let me explain what CoolSculpting is: It’s a fat-freezing technology that’s nonsurgical and scientifically proven to reduce pockets of fat in trouble spots in as little as one session.* CoolSculpting is FDA-cleared to treat 9 different areas of the body: visible bulges under the chin and jawline areas, thighs, abdomen, and flanks, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks, and upper arms. My focus was on the stubborn belly fat in the abdomen and flank (love handles) areas. As you can see from the Coolsculpting before and after pictures above – it absolutely worked! After having my two sons who are nearly 3 years apart, I noticed that my body didn’t bounce back as well the second time around. Then something happens in your mid 30’s that causes some changes in your body too, so I was looking for a nonsurgical way to get rid of belly fat without going under anesthesia.
How many sessions did it take to get these awesome CoolSculpting results?
Just two abdomen and two flank sessions. That’s it! Patients typically need a minimum of three sessions to see the best results but can do as many as six.Can you do more than one CoolSculpting area at a time?
Yes! For my initial appointment, I did the abdomen and flanks. It takes roughly 35 minutes per area.Did I change my diet or workout regimen during my CoolSculpting sessions?
No. I simply kept up my fairly healthy diet (I do have a sweet tooth). My workout routine is not consistent, but I try my best to fit in 2-3 workouts a week. They are typically a 30-minute yoga session or fast walking for about 2-3 miles. How effective is Coolsculpting on the stomach area?
Of course, every person varies depending on how much stubborn fat they want to reduce and how many Coolsculpting sessions they complete. In my experience, it was very effective and the best part is that fat is gone for good! Here’s a recap of my photos from each CoolSculpting session:
- The first photo is from August 23rd prior to any CoolSculpting treatments at CPRS. This day I completed a session on both sides of my flanks and each side of my abdomen.
- In September, I returned to CPRS for a demo night event where I had the second session on my flanks, or love handles. Typically you wait about 12 weeks between sessions, so I was ahead of schedule for this one.
- My final session was on each side of my abdomen Nov 22nd – 12 weeks from my initial appointment.
- And 12 weeks after that I returned to CPRS for my “after picture.” No treatments were completed that day.
