Ingredients
2 1/2 quarts fresh blackberries 2 tablespoon fresh lemon juice 2 large eggs 1 1/2 - 2 cups sugar (I don’t like mine overly sweet) 2 cups all-purpose flour 12 tablespoons butter, melted Cinnamon Brown sugar Vanilla Ice Cream (optional) Whipped cream (optional)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°. Place washed and fresh blackberries in a lightly greased 9×13 baking dish. Sprinkle with flour and gently stir (don’t completely mixed in flour) then sprinkle with lemon juice. Stir together eggs, sugar, then add flour in a medium bowl until mixture resembles coarse crumbles. Spread it over fruit. Drizzle melted butter over topping. Then sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar. Bake for 35 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly. Let stand 10 minutes. Serve with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream, if desired.
