As a new administrator I have found myself working longer hours and this has made it difficult to workout. The pounds have stacked up, and now it is close to the end of the year and once again my New Year’s resolution, to get in shape has gone down the drain, but not for long. Last week I challenged my oldest sister to a friendly weight loss competition, and she accepted the terms. I am motivated and back on track, especially with a $200 prize up for grabs! But first it is important to get the look I want to achieve, make sure that it is comfortable, and fall fashion forward.
Sears has a great variety of workout gear, and when I walked into the store and went to the men’s department the clothing brand that stuck out to me was Everlast. When I workout I need clothing that has multiple uses. I really liked the Everlast Defense Cotton T-Shirts. They are soft to the touch, tagless, and treated with Wicking Windows technology, which allows the shirt to dry much faster than the normal workout t-shirt.
I like a solid color shirt. I am not a fan of bold logos, or outlandish prints. With the Everlast Defense Cotton T-shirt you get a very comfortable affordable shirt that can not only be used for working out, but it also makes a good undershirt for when I am in dress clothes at work, so its versatility is appreciated. #ThisisStyle #cbias
As I was perusing the Everlast racks at Sears I also noticed the basketball shorts. This was definitely something that I needed because you can never have enough workout shorts. I expected them to be heavy, but I was very surprised by how lightweight they were.
When I buy shorts they have to match the rest of my wardrobe, and I tend to wear blues, reds, and blacks. I prefer darker colors because they hide the sweat better. I wear shorts everywhere on the weekends and pockets are a must, which these shorts provide. I need a place to store my phone and wallet and the Everlast Basketball shorts are perfect for running errands around town.
The design on the shorts stood out to me. I am a big fan of blue and orange, since I graduated from the University of Illinois, so anything blue and orange I gravitate towards like a moth to the flame. I found these pairs of shorts to be universal and fit right into my wardrobe.
Hopefully once I win the competition I can go back to Sears and update my wardrobe from an X-Large to Large, or who knows maybe even a Medium! And since I’m signed up for the Shop Your Way Rewards program, which gives me points/cash back towards new purchases, I have money to burn.

Great looks! These are all items I can see my hubby rocking as well–he’s a big fan of the dark, soft undershirts so I will have to remember these next time we need to pick some up for him! I also love the blue and orange shorts–though for me it’s because I’m a die hard Bronco fan! 🙂 #client
