VTech is known for their interactive educational games and toys and this week we had the privilege to review Bronco the RC Triceratops from their Switch and Go Dinos Turbo selection.
About VTech’s Switch and Go Dinos Turbo Bronco
This remote control dino/vehicle is really cool. It is perfect for those little ones who are interested in remote control vehicles, but just learning the skills to control them. The remote control for Bronco is really easy to use. It does require some practice because you have to be able to push the forward level, while at the same time use the knob to steer. My 3-year-old, L, really loved playing with it and his favorite part was the easy one push switch and go button, which transformed the vehicle into Bronco the Triceratops.
The vehicle itself is very well designed. When it is in vehicle mode you can see the driver steering the car, and then when it switched to Triceratops mode you can see the interactive eyes of Bronco as well as hear wild sounds a Triceratops would make. This dino vehicle is not just a remote control toy, but is also equipped with an educational component as you can expect from VTech. When you press the blue button on the controller Bronco tells you facts about the triceratops like, “My head works like a shield”, or” I lived in the cretaceous period.” So if your little one is a dinosaur fan this is a great gift!
Some other great features of Bronco the RC Triceratops is the multiple channels available on the remote and the vehicle incase you want to race multiple dinos at the same time. I also like the turbo charge lever on the side that your little one can crank and crank until Bronco tells you “charge complete” to make this VTech Switch and Go Dinos super charged and ready to race.
From the smooth transition between race car and dinosaurs to the educational facts about dinosaurs this toy is perfect for the little one in your life that is interested in RC vehicles. Bronco does not go super quick on carpet so tile floors or smooth surfaces are the ideal racing grounds. It also requires 8 AA batteries, so stock up when you purchase. L really loves his new RC Triceratops from VTech and I am sure your little one will too. You can find the Switch and Go Dinos online at vtechkids.com or amazon.com, as well as in-store at Walmart, Target, and Toys R Us nationwide!
