SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration kicked off a few weekends ago and we were invited to opening night of the event. There were so many great festivities to choose from like the Shamu Christmas show, a favorite for our boys!
Waves of holiday spirit splash over the park during SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration. Carols fill the air, a sparkling sea of trees light up the water and skaters dance on ice. Here in a wintery, watery wonderland, guests can journey to the North Pole on THE POLAR EXPRESS Experience, share a smile with a sea lion, and enjoy stunning live shows inspired by the natural world. With everything from elves to Elmo, and from Santa to Shamu, SeaWorld’s Christmas Celebration is where the season meets the sea. Events take place on select dates November 17 through December 31, 2012.
During weekends at SeaWorld Orlando you can enjoy an extra special event included with your park admission. SeaWorld’s Halloween Spooktacular begins right across from the Dolphin nursery and offers a special pathway through the park, ending at Shamu Stadium.
NEW at Halloween Spooktacular! Penelope’s Party Zone is an awesome party place, just for kids-where they can become sand artists, dance to a tune-playing DJ, and create and decorate candy apples and rice crispy treats!
SeaWorld Orlando now has all-new ways for fans to dive deeper into the world of Antarctica: Empire of the Penguin, the park’s new attraction opening spring 2013. A dedicated website launched today, allowing everyone to follow the freeze and stay connected to all things Antarctica. The new site includes ways to watch feathery friends live on a Penguin Cam, learn about what makes Antarctica a land of extremes or sign up to receive exclusive email updates.
The website also provides a way to stay tuned to the series of webisodes that will continually take fans behind-the-scenes with the designers and animal experts as they create Orlando’s coolest, must-see 2013 experience, even revealing icy secrets along the way.

My son’s nurse told us a dolphin trick that she learned during a backstage tour at SeaWorld so on our recent visit to the park we just had to try it out….and it worked!! At the underwater encounter area near SeaWorld’s all new Turtle Trek you can literally play with the dolphins!
Dolphin trainers use water bottles to train the dolphins to follow them so my husband attempted the trick and they were happy to play! I recorded just one of the many dolphins that came over to play along! At one point he had three dolphins following him. It was a really neat experience!
