Disney’s fantasy adventure film “The BFG” is officially available for at-home collection! The BFG is the first-ever motion picture adaptation of Roald Dahl’s resonant tale of childhood, the magic of dreams and the extraordinary friendship between a young girl and a big friendly giant.

Once “The Bare Necessities” gets into your head, it’s hard to stop singing the upbeat tune. When my boys saw the original animated film not to long ago, they were hooked on the playful songs from The Jungle Book.
We were excited to hear that a remake was in the works from Disney. This real-life version really brings the story to life in a new way. I was lucky enough to see the film while in LA last week for press coverage of Captain America: Civil War. As the story unfolded on the screen, I was amazed at the artistry and updates to this classic tale. It’s pretty awesome!

Last week I had the opportunity to sit down with the great minds behind Disney’s Zootopia film at Animal Kingdom Lodge in Orlando, Fl. The roundtable press coverage included Directors Byron Howard and Rich Moore, Producer Clark Spencer, Co-Director & Writer Jared Bush, and Co-Writer Phil Johnston.

Byron’s animation credits include a long list of Disney films including Bolt, Tangled and Lilo & Stitch, while Rich’s directing credits include The Simpson’s and Wreck-it Ralph, among other work. Both filmmakers were really excited to be in Orlando. Rich even mentioned that this was his first time visiting the Disney World parks and how blown away he was. Also adding that he wished he hadn’t discovered it so late in life. [Read more…]
