Summer is here and that means there’s a lot of fun in store! I thought what better way to kick off summer than with some fun crafts that will keep the kids entertained (hopefully) all summer long! This was our first attempt at crafting a no sew DIY Puppet Show Theater and puppets too! Using craft products we found mainly around the house, like a big cardboard box, markers and designer tape, we made a fun puppet theater for the kids!

Seedling activity kits unleash a world of possibilities for hands-on, meaningful and lasting fun. Founded in New Zealand, Seedling’s goal is to fuel young imaginations and open new paths to discovery with their activity kits for kids.
I’m not the craftiest of moms so getting a little help and inspiration from Seedling is totally up my alley. They have over 350 products, many of them are award-winning! The Colour the Earth activity kit includes an inflatable world, markers and instructions. The boys were overjoyed to see this giant ball come to life and then color it. I joined in to help too! See why this Banana Boat food craft is easy and fun for kids!
Looking for a super easy food craft idea for the kids? All you need is a few ingredients and about 10 minutes. First grab some bananas and whip cream, along with any fruit toppings of your choice. We chose blueberries and strawberries for our banana boat.
Christmas may be over, but winter officially began Dec 21st this year. While there’s no snow in sight for Central Florida, the weather has turned chilly here and we decided to seek out a wintery food project for the kids. Hubby and I came across an adorable picture of Snowman Cupcakes and knew this was something simple enough for a 4-year-old, yet fun and tasty too!
School’s out, now what? Regal Cinemas, Edwards and United Artists theaters offer an amazing summer deal for parents and kids alike. Their Summer Movie Express is a 9-week festival that runs every Tuesday and Wednesday morning at 10 am. They offer PG and G rated movies for only one dollar! This a great way to get the kids out of the house and beat the summer heat.
Simply click the link above, enter your zip code and locate a participating movie theater location. I strongly advise getting to the movies early. Because this is such an inexpensive way to keep the kids entertained over the summer the theater is bound to fill up quickly. My local theater caters to small daycare groups so we always arrive 20 minutes ahead of time and usually do not encounter an issue finding seats.
So climb aboard the Summer Movie Express and enjoy some great movies!
