During Blogher, my lil’est guy and I were able to stroll in style with the brand new Summer Infant Fuze stroller.
This is a partnered post.
More about the Summer Infant Fuze stroller
The stroller measures 23″ from seat to canopy top and 11″ from the child’s knee to bottom of the stroller. Although the Fuze stroller has a 50 lb weight capacity, I feel that the height measurements are more important with this particular stroller. Because of its award-winning all-aluminum frame, the leg area is a bit limited. My son weighs 35 lbs, and at 2 1/2 he is already at the height maximum for the Summer Infant Fuze.
But wait…there are so many great features that I have to share with you guys. One of the best features is that the Summer Infant Fuze offers a 3 position recline: upright, halfway, and full recline (pictured below).
It also has a reversible seat option. Your baby can face you as you are strolling it! I love this feature. The aluminum frame is so lightweight and allows for a very quick transition from front seated to reverse in a snap.
The Fuze includes a parent cup holder, a peek-a-boo mesh fabric window with magnet closure, large storage basket, and height-adjustable handlebar with easy-grip foam. The back of the seat includes 2 mesh pockets for parents to store cell phones, keys, and other necessities.
There’s also a removable bumper bar and 5 point harness system with built-in protective cover over the harness buckle.
The fold is two-handed but really easy to do. Simply push the safety button, and pull up on each black lever under the handlebar to fold it closed. Then you can easily carry the stroller by the bumper bar to place it in the car, etc.
The Summer Infant Fuze includes a universal car seat adapter and is compatible with Summer Prodigy, Graco Snugride, Chicco Keyfit and Peg Perego Primo. It’s offered in two designs Blaze (which is all black) or Mod (which is a grey/green combination). It retails for $349, but is currently on sale at Summer Infant’s site for just $329, at the time of this review.
If you are in the market for a quality stroller and looking for upgraded features like a reversible seat or a super lightweight stroller, the Summer Infant Fuze should definitely be on your list! I recommend this for infant (with car seat adapter) on up. My only suggestion for Summer Infant would be to extend the aluminum frame on the bottom of the stroller for increased use. Check out the strollers here!

Do you happen to know if the Universal Adaptor for the infant seat is OK to use the Graco “click connect” and/or the “classic connect”. I’ve rad into other adaptors that will work with one but not the other.
Thanks, Amy

I wish I had a stroller remotely like this when my son was an infant. I have no doubt that we would have both been a lot happier! Will now recommend to my niece who is expecting.

I also like that it’s a pretty slim design and will travel easy. I love what strollers can do, I just hate that most take up so much space!
Jennifer H says
Agreed!
