This is a partnered post with Nutrisystem. All opinions are my own and may differ from yours.
The biggest things that I have learned about while on Nutrisystem’s my way plan is portion size and eating more vegetables. Normally I would eat my vegetables at dinner time, but now I am eating them as snacks throughout the day. I normally eat about 4 to 6 cups of vegetables a day. My favorite veggies to snack on are carrots, broccoli, green beans, and bell peppers. I usually go to my local grocery store or farmers market and stock up on them at the beginning of each week. Every day, along with my Nutrisystem items, I load up a large Tupperware with my veggies for the day. These have been very helpful in keeping my calorie intake low and making my metabolism continue to burn calories throughout the day. I knew vegetables were important, but now because of Nutrisystem they are a must in my daily diet routine.
Now that I have followed the Nutrisystem my way plan for 2 months it is time to share my measurement update. Here is a chart that I have created to help show what gains I have made in the last 8 weeks:
|Arms||16 inches||15 inches|
|Chest||47 inches||44 inches|
|Waist||42 inches||38.5 inches|
|Hips||46 inches||43 inches|
|Thighs||26 inches||25 inches|
|Weight||233 pounds||213 pounds|
I have one more month on Nutrisystem and I would like to get down to 200 pounds. Ideally I would like my waist to be 34 inches and I will get there, but this month’s goal is at least to 36 inches. To accomplish those goals I will have to increase my cardio, legs and abdominal workouts. If I can hit those two goals for this month I will be ecstatic. Thank you for following along with me on my journey. I really appreciate all the supportive comments; I read every one of them. Well, I am going to head out to the garage and enjoy a movie workout. See you next week!
