Our boys can’t enough of the iPad, and yes we do limit their screen time, but sometimes it is nice to have a break, especially when traveling, or on an important phone call. The problem is you need something to keep their attention for more than just 10 seconds. That is where the app store comes into play. Our boys enjoy quick paced games that keep them engaged, and that is what the new Numb Chucks: Chuck Fu app is all about.
If your kids are a fan of the Numb Chucks animated television series, then they are going to enjoy playing the new app Numb Chucks: Chuck Fu. Players are challenged through 8 random mini-games to master the art of Chuck Fu, playing as the lead characters, Dillweed and Fungus. The app begins with 8 out of the 12 step mini-games, and you can buy the other 4 steps through in-app purchases for 2.99. Each mini game is a different challenge from balancing at a bowling alley to honing your inner Chuck Fu in swatting bees away.
Mini games include options like:
- Baby Nom Nom
- Grandma’s Groceries
- Punch Kick Punch
- Chuck Fu Balance
The available expansion pack includes:
- Chuck Fu Focus
- Channel Chuck
- Tree Chop Chop
- Sixth Sensei
My boys like that fact that the game is always different because each time you play there is a random draw on which mini-game you will compete in. It all depends on who gets the high score and being the competitive family that we are, all of us want the high score. As you play the mini-games get increasingly more challenging, but once you are out the game is over. There’s an option to purchase a redo with the in-app purchases, and you get 5 free redo coins once you download the free app. You can turn off this setting if you prefer not to have in-app purchases.
Many of the games require just swiping, so even though the Numb Chucks animated series is targeted for 6-11 year old audiences, my 4 year old had no problem completing some of the missions. I even found myself getting into the action. It can get addicting wanting to beat your personal best, or beat your 7 year olds…yea that sounds bad, huh? 😉

If you are ready to tackle the challenges of being a Chuck Fu master than look no further than Numb Chucks: Chuck Fu. Your kids will have a great time mastering the 12 Step Way of the Chuck Training app and competing for the high score to achieve the ultimate in Kung Fu. Down the app from iTunes or Google Play now!
How much could a Woodchuck chuck if a Woodchuck could KUNG Fu?

Children are a very quick learner particularly on the tablet:)
It will be sufficient once to show them basic functions in the game and after that they alone are already able intuitively to go behind this track:)
