This review and giveaway was made possible by Double Duty Divas and Febreze. I was compensated for my participation in this campaign, but all opinions are 100% mine.
Are you #Noseblind? It’s a concept I hadn’t thought of before, but after taking the Febreze Noseblind Challenge – I’ve learned that I am.
Febreze has some pretty creative commercials talking about the Noseblind test, and I was excited to give it a try. After my kit arrived, I invited my sister-in-law over for a fun movie night in. We each took a 5 question survey before getting started. It basically asked us what smells were prominent in my home. Since we have just moved in – the strongest odor is a “new” smell, like new carpet and cabinetry.
Hubby played along filling out a survey online as well. Next I made some fresh popcorn and settled in for our movie.
After the movie we took another survey asking us what we smelled in the air. At this point the popcorn smell had ceased to exist, at least in our case. We had become #Noseblind.
Here are some Noseblind facts:
- Noseblindness is a nasal condition where you become accustomed to the odors around you over time.
- Odors from various activities are released inside your home where they can stay airborne or deposit on a soft surface.
- Most suffer from noseblindness in their natural habitat, where they perceive a scent as “home.”
Next I used some of the Febreze products from my kit to eliminate the odors in my home. Shortly after we were smelling the freshness of Febreze in the air. Because guests can detect a masked odor, it’s best to eliminate them. Febreze offers a simple solution for noseblindness: Febreze contains a molecule known as Cyclodextrin that traps and eliminates bad odors.
