This set offers inexpensive buildable fun by including classic K’NEX pieces with 5 space-inspired models: a Mars Rover, Hover Craft, an Alien, Space Suit, or Moon Bike. Geared towards children ages 7 and up, Dad helped the boys create their first model of choice, a hover craft. Flying the hover craft is a sunflower from the Plants vs Zombies Mystery Figure Bag.
As K’NEX building pro’s we find it best to group likable pieces together for faster building. Once that was done, the boys got to work building the hover craft. You can only build one model at a time with this set, however it does use K’NEX classic pieces so if you have other sets, it’s possible you already have many of the pieces to craft an additional model or two using the included instructions.
The next model they opted to create with the K’NEX Cosmic Quest Set was the moon bike. Our little guy enjoyed taking his Ninja Turtle for a spin on the bike. Both models took less than 10 minutes to create. K’NEX sets are great for family fun!
With over 120 K’NEX pieces, kids can use their imagination to create even more models with this set. Made in the USA, this K’NEX Cosmic Quest Set is available for a suggested retail price of $12.99! You can find it at knex.com, Toys R US, or amazon.com.
