Although some people may not consider Florida as having “true” season changes, Floridians that live here year-round notice and embrace the changes. When fall arrives, the air transforms from hot and humid to crisp, cooler weather making it bearable for just about anyone to go outdoors. Even some of the leaves on our trees begin to change color. (Yes-we have more than just palm trees here people!)
Our fall traditions include visiting local pumpkin patches to find the perfect pumpkin, plus hay rides and corn mazes. This year the pumpkin patch we visited had bounce houses too. That was perfect for the kids!
A new tradition we started this year is Fall Ball. My son played t-ball in the spring and loved it, so we signed him up for another season. The games typically start during our normal dinner time, so I was looking for something quick and easy for him to eat before the game. I recently noticed a Tyson Bread Bowls demo at our local Wal-Mart and thought those would be a perfect pre-game snack.
We are big fans of Tyson Foods so I was certain the Tyson Bread Bowls would not disappoint. After watching the demo we were able to sample the stuffed mini bread bowls in chicken broccoli cheese, boy were they yummy!
I picked up a couple of boxes of the Tyson Bread Bowls, Wal-Mart had available and headed home to prepare them before the next game. You can catch my entire path to purchase on Google +.
The whole family enjoyed the warm, delicious snack-especially my little slugger!
What are some of your “go-to” traditional meals when fall season begins?
I suggest visiting Wal-Mart to catch one of their Tyson demo’s and sample their new bread bowls or pick up a box or two to try at home. You can keep up-to-date with all things Tyson on their facebook and twitter pages too!
