In our home dinner time is the most important part of the day. It’s a time when all four of us sit down together (with no distractions) to talk about our day, while enjoying a great meal. On Fridays we mix it up by having a family game night after our dinner.
On my latest shopping trip to Wal-Mart I noticed a Dip Dip Hooray sign featuring Tyson Chicken Nuggets, Ore-Ida French Fries and Heinz Ketchup. This was a perfect meal solution for our busy week, plus it’s kid-friendly.
Dip Dip Hooray is offering a sweepstakes on DipToPlay.com where you can register to win a $1,000 Hasbro game night with dinnertime favorites from Tyson, Ore-Ida and Heinz. You can also unlock the game of the week by entering the UPC codes from your Dip Dip Hooray products. The official rules of the sweepstakes can be found here.
I picked up the #DipDipHooray items and a few other things on my list and headed home to make dinner. You can follow my entire path to purchase on Google +.
The kids were of course excited that we were having one of their favorite meals for dinner and pretty much devoured it. Hubby too. 🙂
Next we headed to the playroom where the boys chose the game Candyland. The game started off a bit rough with baby boy dumping the entire box of cards all over the floor, but after a quick pick up game we were ready to go. Our family game night was a hit and lots of fun!
Does your family host a game night? If so, what’s your favorite go-to meal for the occasion? What game do you usually play?
