It’s not too often that we all get to sit down for breakfast as a family. My husband is out the door before any of us wake up in the morning, but dinner is another story. Dinner in my home growing up was always eaten as a family at the dining room table. No TV, tech devices, no couch. Just good old family conversation around the dinner table, and that tradition lives on today in my home with my family.
Because breakfast together is a rare treat, I occasionally surprise everyone with breakfast for dinner. With my little guy in tow we headed to Winn Dixie courtesy of #CollectiveBias to pick up the ingredients for decked out chocolate chip pancakes, bacon, and smoothies. By the way, how cute is that mini cart L is pushing around?
I also grabbed a bottle of Lifeway Kefir lowfat strawberry banana smoothie. My chiropractor, Dr. Dan, suggested the product and mentioned these benefits, “Kefir helps by flushing out the bad bacteria from your intestines, which aides in regulating your digestion, metabolism, cholesterol and blood sugar levels.” We are somewhat smoothie addicts around here, so to try one that has so many benefits was a win-win.
Lifeway Kefir, the refreshing cousin of yogurt, is something I can feel good about giving my family because it’s healthy and includes 12 live & active probiotics! Plus we needed something healthy mixed in with all that chocolate goodness. 😉
Not only is Lifeway Kefir full of cultures that are good for your digestive health, but it’s also gluten-free, 99% lactose-free and GMO-free. That’s why it’s considered the “champagne of dairy.” It’s great over cereal, granola, or fruit too. Plus it’s really yummy! The boys especially enjoyed the strawberry banana flavor.

Kefir is a great product. The probiotics sre so important for us too. I don’t think they get the credit they deserve! If you have a dairy allergy, Good Belly is also a great way to get your probiotics. I put just a splash in my son’s dippy cup every day.
