So….last Monday I surprised my lil guy with an advanced screening date to see #IronMan3. (far left pic). By Wednesday evening, he had collided with a bookshelf. My lil guy was screaming in pain after he tripped and fell face first into a wooden bookshelf. We iced his mouth and gums and finally he calmed down for bed. The next morning he looked like one of the “who’s” from Whoville (think of the Grinch).

Last weekend we went to a birthday party at Michael’s Crafts. I had no idea they did birthdays, so that was a nice surprise. My lil guy had a blast creating his masterpiece. And these rainbow cake pops were adorable.

Just before Spring Break, my lil guy enjoyed his first-ever School Field Day. He wasn’t quite sure what to expect, but he was super excited about the day. A (sleepy) baby boy and I joined him for the festivities and I captured these pictures during the event.

Both of our boys love books. Our oldest (who’s almost 5) has read on a 2nd grade level all year. And he’s not slowing down! He loves online phonic programs, plus enjoys reading stories to us every night before bed. I caught him reading a story to his brother this morning and just had to share.
