Today’s partnered post is written by my 7 year old, J.
I’ve been reading a new book to my brother at night called PETE’S DRAGON. It is a great adventurous book and I like reading it too. Pete’s Dragon is about eleven-year-old Pete who isn’t scared of the forest. He’s lived there for a long time and if anything goes wrong Pete can always count on his best friend, Elliot. There is just one thing about Elliot…he’s a giant green flying dragon!
Pete’s Dragon Books
I’m looking forward to the movie I bet it’s really cool. The book is really neat because it includes 8 images from the movie. My favorite part so far is when Pete and Elliot were playing hide and seek because it was funny when the author said a sneaky green tail slithered from above. I think the author does a really good job writing the story, and I think your children will like it too.
You can find Pete’s Dragon in stores now, and on amazon.com.
We also received 2 more Pete’s Dragon inspired books titled: “Pete’s Dragon: The Lost Years” and “Elliot Gets Lost.”
Here’s a little bit about each book:
Pete’s Dragon: The Lost Years talks about when Pete gets lost in the forest and how he forms an unforgettable friendship with Elliot. The novel explores their adventures and includes colorful illustrations. It’s available in stores now, and on amazon.com.
Elliot Gets Lost is about a puppy who is lost in the forest and needs to find a new home. Will it be with a family of sheep, or a questioning owl, or maybe some playful fox cubs? This book is for kids ages 3-5 and available in stores, and on amazon.com too.
