Product Review And Why My Boys Love It!
We put Max Tow Truck to the test. With the included chain and tow hooks we connected him to the boys toy dump truck, then added Nate’s weights to the load. We pulled back on the lever twice and watched him go.

Max Tow Truck in action!
The video also shows us hooking Max up to our sons ride on toy with him sitting on it! Not only does Max Tow Truck push and pull, he also says 50+ sayings to engage kids during play.
Max Tow Truck works best on flat surfaces, not carpet. The toy truck requires 6 C batteries and since we had more generic batteries on hand we started with those. They didn’t seem to give Max enough power to work, so we switched 3 batteries out for name brand versions and definitely noticed a difference. I highly recommend using name brand batteries to see Max Tow Truck’s full potential.
He pushes, he pulls, and he climbs! The boys set up an obstacle course to watch Max climb. The jumbo mega blox were no match for the toy truck as it climbed right over them and the tower at the end of the course.
Jakks toy company has tested Max Tow Truck with many everyday objects to see him in action. The box mentions you can push or pull up to 200 footballs, 600 baseballs, and 1800 golf balls! That’s a pretty big job for this tough toy truck. The chain and tow hooks are made of a thick plastic, not chain, so it’s safe for kids to play.
You can also take Max the Tow Truck on the go with the Drive, Race, Crash! app—available now in the Apple App Store and Google Play.
