Sweet Andy’s “Thank You” Cookies Review

Anyone who knows me, knows I’m a certified chocoholic. So when I heard about Sweet Andy’s Cookies, I just had to give them a nibble, or two!

Here’s a bit of info about how Sweet Andy’s Cookies came to be:

In 2009, Andrew (Sweet Andy) found himself in a position like so many others at that time in our past; the economy was quickly spiraling downward and he had left his job in the financial services industry. During this time Andy and his wife, Lissa, struggled to find other forms of income. They did what they could for themselves and their five children but often it was not enough.

It was a very difficult time for Andrew and Lissa but yet they felt blessed to have such wonderful friends. In Andy’s words, “ I wanted desperately to give back to everyone for all that they were doing for me and my family, but I didn’t really know how to do it seeing that we didn’t have much money. Andrew was a bit of a cookie monster himself and began making cookies for the kids. One day he felt as though he should start baking cookies as “Thank You’s” for all of those people who had helped them during this time.

Andy sent me a scrumptious box of cookies for the ultimate chocolate lover! My box included chocolate chip, triple chip, mint chocolate chip, chocolate, and chocolate with peanut butter.

I was surprised how fresh our cookie delivery was since Sweet Andy’s is located in New York. They are huge too! Sweet Andy’s Cookies come 5 to a package, and it was hard for me to finish a single cookie in one sitting. That was really unexpected! I think these are perfect sharable cookies! And at just $5.99 per package, they’re quite affordable too.

All of my boys (Hubby included) were just as excited to dig in to these delicious cookies so I decided to hold a cookie contest. I placed a piece of each cookie in front of them to try. I wanted feedback on which cookie was their favorite without telling them the details.

Baby boy just said, “mmmm” about each cookie so he was not much help. LOL! Our 4-year-old loved the mint chocolate chip cookie the best, and hubby liked the triple chip. I have to agree with my 4-year-old, the mint chocolate chip is SO good! All of the flavors were delicious, but the mint chocolate chip cookies were a stand out for us.
