I recently learned about this great program for Walgreen’s called Balance Rewards. Walgreen’s all new Loyalty Card Program allows you to save, earn, and redeem your points in store or online beginning September 16th. If you pre-enroll before September 15th you are entered into Walgreens 1 million points Sweepstakes! At the end of the promotional period (10) winners will be selected to win 1 million Balance Rewards points! The approximate retail value of the grand prize is $1,000 per winner!
It is really simple to sign up for Walgreens Rewards. I first went to walgreens.com/balance:
I then clicked the red Join now button to get started. Next it brought me to a Welcome screen (pictured below).
If you already have a Walgreens account you can log in here to continue to complete the Balance Rewards sign up process. Otherwise you have the option, like I did to register for a Walgreens account. Once I signed up, it brought me to a confirmation screen like this:
After signing up for the Balance Rewards program I installed Walgreens app on my iPhone. As a busy and frugal Mom I am always looking for ways to make my life easier, while saving money. I quickly learned just how simple it is to purchase the things I need using Walgreens mobile app. What I love about the app is how easy it is to navigate and that I can make a shopping list, see Walgreens savings and coupons, and shop all in one place.
Using Walgreens mobile app I purchased a few things on my list. I noticed that Walgreens offers FREE shipping on select items purchased online that total $25 or more. I was thrilled that both items on my list qualified for free shipping! And since this Momma can’t shop without a coupon I located a coupon code valued at $5 off a $30 purchase. You can follow my entire path-to-purchase on Google + and snag that coupon code too.
